FPO HR Marketplace aims to solve the issue of access to and availability of talent and professional support which is critical in enabling FPOs/ Agri-businesses to achieve self-reliance and sustainability. The marketplace is the first of its kind and is designed keeping in mind the needs specific to recruiters such as FPOs, RIs, Agri Businesses and job seekers who are interested in the agriculture sector. FPO HR market place brings recruiters and job seekers on a single platform to ensure easy access to a variety of talent and opportunities to both Agri-businesses and professionals. Farmer Producer Organisations have emerged as the most preferred institutional mechanism for farmer prosperity by policy makers and development agencies. It is the lynchpin strategy for Doubling Farmers’ Income. An estimated 5400 FPOs have been registered and another 10,000 FPOs will be organised in the coming 3-4 years. Solving the issue of access to and availability of talent is critical in enabling FPOs to achieve self-reliance and sustainability. Also, penetration of technology as a tool towards capacity building has been poor within the FPO ecosystem.
